The Diversity Advantage presented the “My Story” virtual exhibit in partnership with Welcoming Week America 2020. "My Story" is a collection of videos featuring city staff sharing the immigrant or migrant story of their family’s journey to Bellevue. The exhibit highlights alumni of 2018 and 2019 “My Story” collections, which were presented on storyboards in city facilities. Each video features the author’s own voice, with words, pictures and music.

The 2020 “My Story” virtual exhibit is made possible by the Employees of Bellevue for Racial and Cultural Equity (EmBRaCE), an employee resource group, and the city’s Diversity Advantage Initiative, in partnership with Welcoming America and national Welcoming Week. The “My Story” exhibit can inspire viewers to learn, connect across differences and take joint action to support a welcoming, equitable and inclusive community.
