- CBO Services Request: The Environmental Stewardship team is seeking community-based organization(s) to assist with outreach and engagement for our Sustainable Bellevue Environmental Stewardship Plan Update. The Sustainable Bellevue Plan is a strategic roadmap for climate action and sustainability originally adopted in 2020. Please read the full Request for Community Engagement Services and view the proposal template for more details. Proposal are due by October 25.

- 2022 Greenhouse Gas Inventory Updates:
- Executive Summary: Including our 2022 Inventory Results, retroactive updates, Contribution Analyses, and Emissions Wedge Analysis results.
- Methodology Report: Detailing the updates we made to our 2022 and all previous inventories to incorporate the most current methodology.
- Environmental Performance Dashboard: We've launched a new Environmental Performance Dashboard with interactive graphs and charts to help you explore our progress in detail.
- 2021 Urban Tree Canopy Assessment: Our 2021 Urban Tree Canopy Assessment is now available.
- Tree Code Update: City staff completed a comprehensive review of tree code provisions and developed amendments. These updates to the Tree Code were adopted by City Council in July 2024, and impact tree retention, tree preservation and replacement, and tree protection.
- Air Quality and Land Use Planning Report: Check out our latest report looking at the impact of air quality on development near freeways.
- Climate Vulnerability Assessment: This report outlines the potential impacts of climate change on Bellevue and strategies for increasing resilience.
Tracking Progress
The city tracks progress on implementing the Sustainable Bellevue Plan and on progress toward achieving the city's environmental goals. Sustainable Bellevue Plan Community Engagement and Updates
The Environmental Stewardship Team strives to host two community townhalls per year, to engage the community on the implementation of the Sustainable Bellevue Plan and to provide updates on plan implementation progress.
