The Art of Challenging Conversations
Four-week long workshops Tuesdays, September 12, 19, 26 and October 3
Bellevue Main Library, Room 1
We often avoid or get angry during challenging conversations because we have not learned the skills to discuss hard topics peacefully. Learning the skills can be life-changing.
In this four-week workshop, practice some skills for engaging in challenging conversations: assessment of the issue, initiating, choosing words carefully, hearing the other, negotiating an outcome and deciding on next steps.
Taught by Marci McReynolds, Conflict Resolution Center Manager
Register Space is limited.
